About Payment Method
Payment methods include credit card, Amazon pay, Shop pay etc.
We accept credit cards, Amazon Pay, Shop Pay, etc.
Please note that bank transfers are not available for international orders.
Kindly refrain from selecting bank transfer at checkout.
Kaigara Points from the Kaigara Program can also be used toward your purchase.
Fraud Prevention
In recent years, there has been an increase in orders suspected of fraudulent credit card use.
As a precaution, we have implemented a fraud detection system.
If the order information does not match the cardholder information, or if any suspicious activity is detected, we may contact you to verify your identity. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
About international shipping
Orders are shipped via Japan Post’s Express Mail Service (EMS).
Shipping fees vary depending on the size and weight of the package. At checkout, a provisional shipping fee will be charged. After preparing your order, we will confirm the final shipping cost and send you an invoice for any balance due.
If the final shipping fee is lower than the provisional amount, the difference will be refunded.
Customers may cancel their order if the additional shipping cost exceeds JPY 1,100.
(In this case, a full refund will be issued.)
Otherwise, we do not accept cancellations for international orders.
Please note that some shipping restrictions may apply depending on the destination.
Due to ongoing disruptions, Japan Post may not accept shipments to certain countries or may impose restrictions. Delivery may take longer than usual.
Please note that EMS tracking may not function properly in some countries due to local postal system limitations. Sail & Thread cannot be held responsible for such issues.
About customs duties
Customs duties and import taxes may apply to international shipments. These charges vary depending on the destination country’s regulations, as well as the value and contents of the package.
If you are concerned about potential charges, please check your country’s regulations in advance.
All orders are shipped from Nara, Japan.
Customers are responsible for all import duties, taxes, and fees. We are unable to assist with payment of these charges and cannot offer refunds related to them.
We do not accept cancellations due to refusal or inability to pay import fees.
Return and exchanges
Please note that we do not accept returns unless the product is defective.

We may ask you to return the item before sending a replacement. -
Please contact us within 5 days of receiving the item if it is defective.
If a replacement is not available, a refund will be issued.If the package is damaged during delivery, please contact the shipping carrier with your tracking number.
- We make every effort to display product colors accurately. However, colors may vary depending on your device settings.
We do not accept returns or exchanges based on color differences.
About downloading the PDF pattern
You can access your purchased PDF patterns in “My Library” after logging into your account.
If purchased by credit card, the download will be available immediately.
If purchased together with other items, the PDF will be available after the order has been shipped.
